1. Information We Collect

a. Account Registration
When you create an Accentize account, you may be asked to provide:

Social Logins: You may register using social platforms like Google or Facebook. In such cases, Accentize may receive data from the social provider (e.g., your email address and contacts).
You can manage your account in your account settings inside the app.
b. Profile & User-Generated Content
Once registered, a profile is created for you. Your Profile may include:
Personal Details: Your chosen name, username, bio, and profile picture.
Learning Progress: Information about your learning progress, lessons, milestones, and achievements.
Vocalize: When you use the Vocalize feature inside the app, your text may be sent to trusted third-party providers (e.g. Google) to process your text into speech.
c. Accentize Pro
If you subscribe to Accentize Pro, you gain access to premium features such as advanced AI-driven accent feedback and personalized coaching sessions. When you use these features:
AI Interaction: Your text or audio inputs may be processed by our AI partners for analysis and feedback. These partners may keep a copy of your text or audio input for their own purposes. We recommend that you avoid sharing sensitive or confidential information when using the AI features.
Enhanced Personalization: The data from your interactions is used to tailor and improve your learning experience.
d. Speech & Audio Processing
For accent training, certain exercises require you to speak into the Accentize app:
Audio Capture: Your speech is recorded and may be sent to trusted third-party providers (e.g., Google, Apple, or Amazon Web Services) to convert your voice to text or analyze pronunciation.
Data Anonymization: Any audio data used for product improvement is anonymized so that it cannot be linked back to your personal information.
User Choice: Participation in speaking exercises is optional; you can skip these activities if preferred.
e. Contact Sync Feature
Accentize offers a Contact Sync feature to help you find friends who are also using our Service:
Access to Contacts: With your permission, we access the contacts stored on your device.
Privacy Protection: Rather than storing raw phone numbers, we create encrypted “hashes” to uniquely identify contacts. - These hashes cannot be used to reveal actual contact details.
Mutual Connections: If a contact’s phone number matches an Accentize user, we may suggest a connection.
f. Activity Data
When you use our Service, we automatically collect data such as:
Usage Patterns: Browser type, device information, log files, and IP address.
Engagement: Details regarding your interactions and learning activities on the Service.
g. Session Recording & Analytics
To help us enhance your experience:
Session Analytics: We use tools to capture and analyze your activity, such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation paths

When you access the Accentize website:

Do note that opting out of personalized advertising does not prevent the display of all advertisements to you. Accentize Pro may offer an ad-free experience.

If you delete your account, most personal data will be erased, though some information may be retained for a limited period for legal or administrative purposes.
5. Child Users
Protecting children’s privacy is especially important to us:
Minimum Data Collection: Our services are not intended for children under the age of 15. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under the age of 15. If we learn that any personal data has been collected inadvertently from a child under 15 we will delete the information as soon as possible. 6. Accentize for Schools
Accentize for Schools enables educators to create virtual classrooms for accent and language training:
Teacher Access: Educators may view your name, email, and learning progress if you join a classroom.
Classroom Controls: Teachers can manage account settings, assign tasks, and send notifications.
Opt-Out: You may leave a classroom at any time via your account settings.

7. Do Not Track
Our Service does not automatically respond to “Do Not Track” signals. However, you may adjust your browser controls to limit data collection where possible.
8. Links to Third-Party Websites
Our Service may include links to external websites. Please be aware that:
